Edward W. Gilmore

Edward W. Gilmore was born in Oakland, California, in 1966. His fascination with nature’s color harmony started young and continues to guide his work today. Influenced by his father and grandfather’s craftsmanship and his mother’s creative spirit, Edward developed a distinctive style that celebrates emotion and balance through color.
From his early days designing color compositions for San Francisco’s Victorian homes to creating vibrant, contemporary works, Edward’s art captures both structure and soul.
“Art isn’t just what you see—it’s what you feel when color meets emotion.”
My greatest inspiration is by far, people. My creativity seems to soar and thrive off the emotions and experiences from conversations with others that seep into my thoughts, dreams… and ultimately my paintings. Edward W. Gilmore.
